The Grounds Real Estate Development AG: New Supervisory Board elected by the Ordinary General Meeting
Berlin, 22 August 2019. Shareholders at today’s Ordinary General Meeting of The Grounds Real Estate Development AG (ISIN DE000A2GSVV5) concerning the 2018 financial year approved all the agenda items and also elected an entirely new Supervisory Board, which constituted itself immediately after the General Meeting.
The company’s new Supervisory Board Chairman is now Prof. Dr. Winfried Schwatlo FRICS, Managing Director of Schwatlo Management GmbH and Professor of Real Estate Management, Communications and Conflict Management at Nürtingen-Geislingen University. Prof. Dr. Schwatlo was the founder and for many years executive board member of FOCUS Real Estate AG, a project developer for commercial real estate properties. In addition to project development concentrating on sustainable residential neighbourhoods, his main focus is on conflict mandates involving issues relating to project acceptance.
Mr. Sönke Schwartz, an independent auditor in Frankfurt/Main, acts as his deputy. He has more than twenty years of experience in corporate business management consultancy and in leading management functions in the real estate property sector. Until 2006 he worked as an auditor and tax consultant in the areas of audit and corporate finance/transaction consultancy in the audit companies Deloitte and KPMG. He then carried out executive functions in the real estate property sector until 2012. He has worked since then as an independent auditor specialising in transactional & restructuring consultancy and company valuations.
The other member of the Supervisory Board is Mr. Andreas Ingendoh, LL.M, Attorney and Partner in the VON TROTT ZU SOLZ LAMMEK law practice, who is a lawyer specialising in construction & architectural law and in rental & residential property law. Mr. Ingendoh specialises in providing legal assistance to real estate project developments and transactions. He has worked as a lawyer since 2002 (in Berlin since 2003), and after working in a German and a major international lawyers’ office, he has now been a Partner with Trott zu Solz Lammek in Berlin since 2015.
The Grounds thanks the previous Supervisory Board members Dr. Peter Maser, Carsten Haug and Steffen Buckwitz, who left office today, for their trustful and very successful collaboration since the company’s reorientation in 2017.
